While we shoot 30+ weddings a year, you would think they all start to have the same feel after awhile. It’s amazing because they really don’t. Every wedding takes on its own personality. It’s the unique styles, it is the details and it is very much the couple getting married. Style and uniqueness meant a lot to Amanda and Jeff with regards to their wedding planning. You might recall we spent the afternoon on Toronto Island for their engagement, which you can see by clicking here. Thinking out of the box for both our shoots on their part, made my job incredibly easy. Knowing what you want beforehand is the easiest way to receive what you wanted afterwards.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love shooting weddings? I am not just another photographer looking to break into fashion and I rarely shoot families, models or headshots. This is what I love to do and it is weddings like this one that remind me I made the right choice.
Amanda and Jeff, you have style coming out of your ears. You were warm, friendly and extremely thoughtful to your guests and they love you for it.
Three last notes before moving on to the images:
* Amanda and Jeff are currently travelling South America for three weeks and I am 100% jealous
* Amanda is a WONDERFUL Toronto food blogger and her website will keep you hungry and smiling.
* Huge thank you to Andy King (Second) and Nathaniel Dionisio (Assist) for their hard work on this wedding with me.

Sweet Potato Chickpea Soup with Chorizo « mise en place - [...] I’m not sure how people manage to write intelligently about their wedding days, because all that I have managed to come up with, nearly four weeks after the fact, is that it was awesome. The food was awesome, the music was awesome, the dance party that broke out, led my kilt-clad grandfather, was awesome. Having everyone we know and love in one room? Awesome. And we have photos to prove it. [...]
Amanda - Finally got to see the photos on the big screen. Aron, they took my breath away. Your talent, and most importantly your passion for shooting weddings, shine through in every image. Working with you and the Calculated Style crew over the last 10 months, you really made us feel like friends and not just clients. It was a joy to work with you and we look forward to the pitter patter of little feet sometime soon (but not too soon) so we can do it all again for a family shoot!
Cheers,
Amanda and Jeff
